Fruit Platter

I'm not a big fruit fan, or at least I never eat fruit, but then I eat a fresh pineapple and I wonder how I live without it.

To make a fruit platter, buy a bunch of whatever looks best at your local produce market. With a butcher knife (for cracking open melons and such), a pairing knife, and a melon baller, creatively prep the fruit and plate.

Fruit Platter

Here, we have apple, peach, banana, pineapple (grilled and not), kiwi, honeydew, cantaloupe, and strawberries handpicked at Russell Orchards in Ipswich.

Serve with Camembert, Brie, "Camembrie", Greek yogurt, strawberry rhubarb reduction, homemade whip cream, buttered English muffins or crumpets, dark chocolate, and whatever else sounds good.
