Margarita Limonata

After the Margarita del Lobo, this is my second favorite margarita recipe. Effervescent, this take is more refreshing. Also sweeter, it is great in the heat.

Makes one drink.

Ingredients:

2 ounces (2 pony shots) Patrón Silver
1.5 ounces (1 jigger shot) San Pellegrino Limonata, chilled
1 big wedge of lime

In a cocktail shaker with several large ice cubes, add the tequila and juice from the lime wedge. Shake vigorously and then let rest until the outside of the shaker starts to sweat, a few seconds.

In a highball with lots of ice, simultaneously strain in the chilled tequila and San Pelegrino. Toss the lime wedge into the drink. Serve.
